The Beast I Chose

Violet, who has been living alone in a remote countryside, happens to rescue a badly wounded man named Caliban and nurses him back to health. Drawn to each other by a sweet scent and an inexplicable pull, the two share a passionate first night… but soon after, Caliban suddenly disappears without a trace. Left alone with no clue where he went, Violet leaves her hometown to find work as a maid—only to discover Caliban in the basement of her new workplace, imprisoned in the form of a beast… A fated love story disguised as chance, between Caliban, a member of a monstrous clan with beastly instincts lying dormant, and Violet, a half-human who alone can calm them.
